Five suspects had been arrested in connection to the death of Mohammed Danjuma

Five suspects had been arrested in connection to the death of Mohammed Danjuma, whose remains were recovered around Gwagwa-Kagini axis of Abuja, on March 16 by the FCT police command.

While briefing the media in Abuja Mr. Bala Ciroma the FCT Commissioner of Police said that preliminary findings revealed that Mohammed Danjuma (the deceased) boarded a cab as a passenger from Berger to Tipper Garage, Katampe, Abuja.

However, the cab was diverted by his assailants to an unknown destination where he was attacked with wheel spanner and robbed of his valuables, including his ATM card which was subsequently used by the gang to withdraw money from his bank account.

According to the FCT police boss  golden coloured Mazda 626 car with registration number, KWL-132 CN and Mazda 323 with registration number, CF 123-KSF were exhibits recovered from the suspects.

The suspects were members of notorious armed robbery gang that pose as cab operators to rob their victims.
