Micah Parsons has his own theory as to why Travis Kelce seemingly plays better when Taylor Swift attends his Kansas City Chiefs games.

The Dallas Cowboys linebacker says it’s all about “confidence.”

“Travis Kelce’s my boy, the best tight end in the league for like the past three, four years, so it’s obviously not Taylor Swift,” the linebacker, 24, said on his podcast The Edge with Micah Parsons. “But I’m gonna tell y’all one thing. When there is a bad girl and she’s in attendance and she’s watching you, that gives you an extra boost of confidence.”

According to a stat shared during Sunday’s face-off against the Los Angeles Chargers — and just after Kelce, 34, scored a touchdown — the tight end has more than double the receiving yards per game (99) when the “Bad Blood” singer is watching versus when he’s “left to his own devices” (46.5).

“You know what Kelce’s doing,” Parsons said. “I know what’s going on. He was already doing it, so now it’s like ‘Yeah, I’m gonna do it more now.’ Like it’s a swagger. It’s a confidence when those things happen. Y’all know how it goes.”

While Kelce had a stellar game with 12 receptions for 179 yards in the Chiefs’ 31-17 win over the Chargers, Swift also looked to be having fun watching it all go down.

The music superstar, 33, joined quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany, in the player’s suite at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, to support her new beau.

After Mahomes and Kelce connected for a touchdown, their leading ladies debuted a celebratory handshake, which the NFL shared in a video posted on X. The signature move included the new friends bumping their hips together and finished with a jumping chest bump.

They weren’t the only ones appreciative of the Chiefs’ efforts.

Following the game, head coach Andy Reid revealed that he was happy for Swift — who made her fourth appearance at a Chiefs game this year —  and the tight end.

“Taylor can stay around all she wants,” he said, while also adding that Kelce keeps “getting better with time.”
