Introducing The 2022 Lincoln Navigator

2022 LINCOLN NAVIGATOR

2022 Lincoln Navigator

ANOTHER LANDMARK SET BY LINCOLN

The 2022 Lincoln Navigator comes with a host of styling changes as well as the introduction of Lincoln’s hands-free driving assistance system.

The system works as an evolution of its adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping and sign-recognition systems, only it takes it all a step further.

Lincoln still refers to the geo-fenced, hands-free driving sections as Blue Zones. While this system is still far from an autonomous driving system, it does help take some of the pressure off of a driver during a long road trip.

Making sure that the driver is still paying attention, ActiveGlide features a camera that watches the driver’s eyes to guarantee that the driver is focusing on the road.

The 2022 models will sport a new front fascia that includes a new grille and pixel projector headlamps. At the rear, there are new taillights that sport a 3D design. While the refresh is undeniably subtle, you still will be able to point out the changes compared to the current model.

Powering the 2022 Navigator is the same 3.5-liter turbocharged V6 as the current model. Power also remains the same as the current model and that means that this 3.5-liter V6 sends 440 hp and 510 lb-ft of torque through a 10-speed automatic transmission.

If you’re in the market for a Navigator and are enamored with the idea of hands-free driving: you’ll have to wait until early next year for these 2022 models to hit the dealer. Lincoln didn’t comment on price, but we don’t expect a huge bump over the current model’s $78,000 price tag.
